Kids Bring Adults — Art at the Table
Within the framework of 'Tempos Modernos — Cerâmica Industrial Portuguesa Entre Guerras' [Modern Times — Portuguese Industrial Ceramics Between Wars], Casa do Design promotes an activity where children and adults will share a table and express their creativity.
Kids Bring Adults – Art at the Table invites children to create their own decorative painting in a paper plate using motifs from the Modern Times exhibit.
Accompanied by adults, children between the ages of 4 and 12 will be able to draw the central motif for a plate in a blank sheet, using tracing paper to transfer the drawing to the plate and then finishing it.
Modern Times — Portuguese Industrial Ceramics Between the Wars, the exhibition inspiring this activity, is curated by Rita Gomes Ferrão. It showcases ceramics produced in Portugal during the Art Deco period. The exhibition may be visited at Casa do Design until October 25th.
This activity is organised by the Casa do Design’ Educational Service and will happen on October 25th, between 3:30 and 5 pm. Free entry subject to registration.
